This Spring Retreat offers a great opportunity to discover the essence of Zen practice. What distinguishes this practice is the silence and deep introspection. One spends the whole day, fully aware, in meditation, whether sitting, or walking, or reciting sutras. It is an awakening of mind where the focus of attention is on every moment; whether eating, drinking tea, or sleeping. Jishin offers group teaching and personal interviews.

This retreat is open to beginners as well as those who are already following the path.

At the end of the sesshin the possibility will be offered to take the Bodhisattva precepts of the One Mind. That will take place in a simple ceremony. If you are interested, please let us know before.

Recommendations

• You need to bring a cushion (zafu) and a blanket (zafutón) for zazen.
• Comfortable clothes, discreet colours and quiet slippers, an alarm clock, only what you really need.
• Those with special dietary needs should let us know at the time of reservation.
• The observation of silence is rigorously maintained from dinner till breakfast, the use of telephone or mobile is only for emergencies.
