In the spring of 1989 Jiun, Roshi was sent to Miami to start a Zen center. In October of the same year the Dharma House was officially opened and Dharma Udaka was ordained as a priest and teacher with the name Kanromon (Gate of Sweet Dew) and the title Osho. Although she was living in Miami, she travelled a lot with her master. For years she was in Europe every summer to attend all the retreats that Prabhasa Dharma, Zenji, gave in the Netherlands, Germany and Spain. Since 1985 Jiun, Roshi guided introductory sesshins in Germany and prepared students for the retreats with her master. In 1993 she moved to Germany with the assignment to start a Zen center. After several trials and errors, she finally fulfilled this task with a center in the Netherlands. In 1996 the International Zen Center Noorder Poort was founded and since then Jiun, Roshi has spent most of her time working and teaching there. Sadly enough, Prabhasa Dharma, Zenji could only come for two summer training periods to Noorder Poort. She became seriously ill and Jiun, Roshi was with her when Prabhasa Dharma, Zenji passed away on May 24th, 1999, in Los Angeles. A little before that, on May 5th, Prabhasa Dharma, Zenji had prepared Dharma transmission (inka) for Jiun, Roshi, who upon the passing away of her master then became the 46th generational heir with the names Jiun Hogen (Compassion-Cloud Original-Dharma).
