Zen and Haiku
Some time ago a workshop on ‘Haiku and Zen’ was held on
the Noorder Poort under the guidance of haiku poet Hans Reddingius and Zen
teacher Hogo Dienske.
Here we present a few of the haiku that originated during the course.
The poems were originally written in Dutch.

De plassen op het weiland
Springen tevoorschijn

(The sky turns pale
The pools in the meadow
Jump forwards) |

Stoer en zelfverzekerd.
